Pastor Brent will be retiring in December after 26 years at Essex Gospel.

We will be honouring Pastor Brent & Karen’s ministry and celebrating their retirement at a banquet on the evening of Sunday, December 7th, 2025, at 5:00pm in the Gym at the Church.

This will be a ticketed event (like the 100th Anniversary Gala). Tickets are $15/adult 13 yrs and over and will be available starting Sunday, November 9th in the foyer. Children 12 and under are free, and there will be a special kid’s program and meal organized for them. Please sign up your child when you purchase your tickets so we know how many kids to plan for.

The congregation is invited to bless Pastor Brent and Karen with an envelope that contains a monetary/gift card blessing and a personal note that expresses the impact that Brent and Karen have had on your own lives and families. There will be a basket at the banquet on December 7th to collect all the cards.
